Treasure Holt
History: Located in Essex on the edge of Holland Marshes, Treasure Holt is a private residence that dates back to the mid 12th century. Treasure Holt was once called Perles Farm and also spent time as a Coaching Inn. The property has a Royal History. King Charles was said to have visited in order to hide in it's isolated location from Oliver Cromwell's Roundheads.
Hauntings: A Phantom Monk has been seen on the property and inside the house. He walks along outside on one of the paths, while indoors he's been seen walking through whats now a wall next to a fireplace but would have once been a entrance to a underground tunnel.
Cavaliers have been seen in ghostly battle with Roundhead's on the property, and a lone Cavalier has been seen in numerous areas inside the house.
Other famous hauntings at Treasure Holt are the "Crinoline Lady". She has been seen and heard on the upper floors of the house. And Uncle Percy who was a previous owner.
